About the artist..

Shirley Guest is a self taught artist and works in the mediums of watercolours and acrylics. Originally from Manitoba and having lived in the north, the beautiful northern landscape, skies and ever changing environment have been a constant inspiration for her works.

Throughout her painting career as an artist, Shirley has had many art shows throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan. She has received numerous awards including People's Choice awards at juried shows and at guild shows. Shirley has also had the honour of having one of her original watercolours chosen and presented to Slyvia Fedoruk while she was in office as Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan.

Shirley's unique style can be seen in many local, national and international collections.

Currently Shirley resides in Regina, Saskatchewan and is an active member of Brushworks Art Guild.
